Motorola One Action (Android One) Smartphone Unboxing & Overview

Hi there this is Ranjit and in this video let’s have a first look at this Motorola one action there’s a new smartphone by Motorola and this is sort of for having an action camera on this one has a triple camera at the back we’ll have a first look and quite a few of you have asked me to check this out and I said this is already launched in India and this is sold in India why a flip cart and it’s sold for thirteen thousand 999 rupees and I feel the specs are actually pretty good it cuz it comes with 128 gigabytes of internal storage anyways let’s have a closer look and here at the back it says that has that triple camera setup and it has that 117° wide-angle lens but it’s specifically for video like GoPro style video and it’s having the what do you say 6.3 inches screen and 3500 milliamp hour battery and also is Dolby audio so let’s open this up and here we have the handset itself and a case is actually pre attached to this one height and expect that so this is a TPU case that you’re getting and this and we also have a screen card artist let me peel that off and this is the device itself it has the Android one branding anyways let’s see what else do we get in the box we get some paperwork in Hindi as well as in English this looks like USB type-c cable yes USB type-c so that’s actually nice you’re getting a type-c cable and this is the power brick that’s it and guys this is a 5 volt 2 amp that means a 10 watt charger in the box so that’s what we get in the box so let me keep that to the side and let’s now move and look at the handset itself and first thing that I’ve noticed about this device is it’s actually pretty narrow but a lot taller in fact this is having a different screen aspect ratio generally we are seeing ad mister 919 s29 but this one is actually having a 21 s29 screen aspect ratio and I feel at this price point is the only handset that is having that also known as cinema view or something like that cinema vision anyway so let’s try let me give you a physical overview we have a 3.5 mm headphone jack a secondary noise cancellation microphone over here volume rocker power on/off button back actually it looks like polycarbonate bad guys bottom we have the vent for the speaker type C port main microphone and here we have this SIM tray so let’s look at the same and looks like highbreed but again I won’t complain a lot because the base storage also there’s only one Radian that is sold in India and it comes with 128 gigabytes of storage and 4 gigabytes of RAM so let’s put this back guys and back if you notice we have three cameras the main camera has a 12 megapixel then we have another camera that’s a 16 megapixel that’s the ultra wide camera and this is actually used to shoot wide-angle videos we look at it and we also have a 5 megapixel that’s our depth flash it’ll be a fingerprint sensor so let me do one thing and front-facing camera is that punch hole knotch type let me power this on and by the time I actually boots up and I set it up let me give you a configuration overview this moto one action is having a six point three inch for the HD plus screen and 21 is 2 9 aspect ratio that’s in my vision it sparked by the XE nose 96 0 9 octa-core processor it is having the mali g72 mp3 GPU it comes with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage going to the camera the main camera 12 megapixel is having F 1.8 aperture with quad pixiv then we have the 16 megapixel ultra wide camera with 117 degrees wide-angle view and lastly 5 megapixel 4 depth moving to the front-facing camera it’s a 12 megapixel and we also have a 3500 milliamp power battery and Android one device and also has Dolby audio so guys have finished setting up this device and again the first thing you’ll notice is that as it’s Android one device stock Android not a lot of junk hardly any what do you say junk we are apart from just this Motorola specific apps motor specific moto actions and all the stuffs that you have seen with other Motorola device are there and if you go back over here as you can see it’s close to almost stock Android you are getting and again I like this tall screen and you can easily reach this part of the screen because it’s not that wide it get it takes a little bit time we get used to it but I’m actually liking initial impressions I would say and look it feels actually not that heavy guys so the weight distribution has been done well in my opinion and we also have Dolby or audio and I’m other thing that I’ve noticed is that yes it’s almost stock as you can see this is what you’ll expect with stock Android we have some toggles or your brightness over here and I also noticed that let me check I saw somewhere NFC so let’s search for NFC so nice to see that we also have NFC on this one generally in this price range 14,000 we don’t get NFC but we are getting NFC on this so that’s actually a nice thing also moving to the back you notice this Motorola logo this is actually the fingerprint scanner on this one so let’s test this and it’s fast next you should touch it works it takes half a second I think that that’s the animation but it is fast so again that’s also a nice thing and regarding the storage let me show you that’s actually a nice thing because about 115 gigabytes is free as you can see over here and you get this only in this region so I feel storage but they have done a good job even though there is only one variant that is being sold in India as of now and that is the 4 gigabyte RAM and 128 gigabytes variant so storage should not be a issue on this one and as you can and one more thing I am noticing is a very small thing that I’m noticing the haptic motor is actually very well implemented on this this feels like a premium handset in terms of the haptic feedback that’s the vibration that is something that I am noticing so that’s actually really nice and we have the punch hole what is a camera notch over here as you can see that’s a little bit big but that’s what it is and let’s now talk about the cameras so let’s have a look the interface as you can see over here by default it is in the photo mode like this and if you click here if you have various modes like portrait cutout cinemagraph panorama and all these things and we also have the slow-motion option but in this regular mode as you can see we don’t have an option to go to the wide-angle lens that’s only for video I believe this is the regular video as you can see I’m shooting a video and it also has a EIS I believe I will test that but let me get out and here if I press this this button as you can see I’m in that wide-angle video this is regular this is a video and you actually shoot the video like this like a GoPro or something like this you’re holding like this you shoot the video and if we go back here to the front-facing camera it’s a 12 megapixel the shutter speed looks fast when we also have face Beauty auto and manual options over here so we do have quite a bit of options so let me do one thing guys let me actually test this camera shoot some more sample shots so that you get a better idea regarding the camera so these were shot with the rear facing camera and I notice immediately the colors are very natural hence the pictures actually looked to be really good even on human subjects you notice the skin colors everything the pictures are looked fine and the color reproduction is actually really good now even this wasn’t the portrait bouquet more and I feel it does a pretty good job and you can also adjust the intensity of the bouquet that you would want now I’m moving to indoor semi not good lighting conditions indoor lighting conditions here also I would say it did much better considering the artificial lighting conditions as you can see and now moving to a human subjects and artificial lighting yes as you can see it does a good job but yes there is slight weakness and this was taken in the portrait bouquet mode in indoor lighting this was regular shot and this was the portrait bouquet mode now moving to the front facing camera outdoors it actually does a good job but sometimes the white balance is off but in the portrait bouquet mode I feel it is doing a very good job shooting this video with the Motorola one action and this is with the regular lens guys and I’m just walking around and looks like it has electronic image stabilisation when I’m walking and then also the video looks to be stable but now let’s do one thing let’s move to that wide-angle lens and see how it does now guys I’ve switched to the wide-angle lens and again I’m walking around definitely looks a lot wider and you shoot it like an action camera holding it straight and again guys I’m still walking so you guys judge and let me know what do you think about the video with that wide-angle lens so the audio is also being recorded wha it’s internal microphone so guys that’s it fun all for the unboxing and first look at this one I
